The candidate must show recognized contributions of quality in the area of cosmetic surgery like a pre-requisite to membership. They’ll be envisioned having made outstanding contributions to the concept of cosmetic surgery within the regions of education, research or clinical excellence.

Each candidate for membership should be backed with a Fellow and endorsed by another Fellow from the Association, and only the sponsor or endorser should be in the candidate’s community or (if no Fellow resides in the community) from his region. Another may sponsor or endorse for membership three new candidates per twelve months. The candidate should have had five (5) many years of practice in the area of cosmetic surgery following certification through the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery or certification in cosmetic surgery through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The best to Board certification might be made in situations where a superb person broadly famous for competence and contributions and offering national leadership inside a specialized section of Cosmetic Surgery might not be Board Certified, but might be considered worth election to membership. This will include outstanding niche surgeons with unique qualifications who’ve made substantial contributions, in addition to distinguished foreign cosmetic surgeons.
