Softball Ontario is very happy to share a nationwide Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Professional Development Points Chance. Team Canada Coaches Staff will give you an interactive and fun 3 hour Coaches Clinic in Burlington, ON- Friday, April 15, 2016 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Team Canada Coaches Staff and Clinic Instructors:
Senior Women’s Mind Coach- Mark Cruz had a remarkable 25 year worldwide softball career, where he was considered among the best pitchers on the planet. He won two Worldwide Softball Federation World Titles and 4 Pan American gold medals – two like a player and 2 like a coach, among a number of other accolades.
Junior Women’s Mind Coach- Melissa Basilio, Assistant Coach of Canada`s Senior Women`s National Team and Mind Coach of Canada`s Junior Women`s National Team since 2009. Melissa attended four years at College of Delaware and it was named Second Team All-Colonial Association (2002-2003). Those same years she was co-captain. Melissa was a superb defensive third baseman and it was noted for her quick glove and powerful arm. Her Coaching roster includes: Winthrop Eagles, Assistant Coach using the Markham Tigers and Assistant Coach with St. Mary’s Catholic School.
